HICH / CAPABILITIES

ERP systemsEVERYTHING. CONNECTED.

Give your team a clearer view of the work behind the business. We map the processes, roles and data that matter, then shape connected operational tools for inventory, approvals, reporting and everyday decisions.

LESS CHASING.
MORE KNOWING.

Inventory, purchasing and approvals should tell the same story. Start with one connected workflow, then build an operational system around how your organisation really works.

THE DETAILS.
THAT DO THE WORK.

01

Inventory you can trace

A stock total is only useful when the movements behind it are clear. We map items, locations, receipts, reservations and adjustments so teams can understand availability and investigate differences without piecing together separate spreadsheets.

02

Approvals with accountability

Purchase requests, spending limits and exceptional cases need explicit rules. We define who submits, who approves, what information a decision requires and how the resulting activity is recorded for the people responsible.

03

Reporting connected to the work

Operational dashboards should explain a decision, not simply display numbers. We agree definitions, source records and refresh expectations for each view, connecting summaries to the inventory, orders or approvals that produced them.

GOOD QUESTIONS. CLEAR ANSWERS.

Details, considered.

A closer look at the decisions, dependencies and practicalities behind erp systems.

Where does an ERP project start?

With the people doing the work. We map a representative process, identify the system of record and review current spreadsheets or software. A pilot module gives the team something concrete to validate before a wider rollout.

How does existing data move across?

Migration starts with field mapping, duplicate checks and sample imports. The cutover plan defines a verification owner, a freeze window if needed, and a way to reconcile important balances against the original records.

What about branches and different roles?

Locations, business units and access boundaries should be designed together. We document shared information, local responsibilities and approval exceptions so the system does not depend on a single administrator’s memory.

LET’S CLEAR
THINGS UP.

01

Do we need a custom ERP?

Not always. A configured off-the-shelf product may fit standard processes well. Custom development is worth considering when critical workflows, integrations or ownership requirements cannot be met sensibly by an existing product.

02

Can we start with one operational module?

Yes. A focused module can be a practical first step, provided shared data, permissions and future connections are designed before implementation.

03

Can our spreadsheet data move into the new system?

Migration starts by identifying the source of truth for products, customers, suppliers and opening balances. Sample data is checked for duplicates, missing fields and inconsistent units before an import is designed. A trial migration and reconciled totals should be reviewed by an operational owner before cutover.

04

How do approvals and audit history fit into an ERP?

Approval rules should reflect real authority: who can request, who can approve and when a second review is needed. We can scope a history of relevant changes, reasons for rejection and visible status updates. The exact events, retention period and permissions are agreed for each module.
